Morehead State University Camden-Carroll Library Official page for Morehead State University's Camden-Carroll Library. Sen. Johnson Camden and former Gov. Julian M. Carroll. Barbour Room.

Built in 1931, expanded in 1965 and again in 1978, this five-story structure was named in honor of former U.S. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It encompasses the Ione Chapman Reading Room, Jesse Stuart Room, James Still Room and Roger W. The library features state of the art technology to help you do research and prepare class projects, as well as books, magazines, journals and more. The library staff can help you do research and find needed resources. It also offers quiet study space, collaborative work space, presentation preparation area and a coffee shop. Camden-Carroll Library is much more than books. CCL houses the University’s Archives, Appalachian Collection, James Still Room, Jesse Stuart Room, Patti Bolin Display, Learning Technology Lab, Learning Resource Center, and Java City Coffee Shop.

We will be decorating books from 5-6:30.
Have a favorite book you want to bling out? Bring it!
We also have a few boxes of books (about 50 books) you can pick from while supplies last 📚

We can't believe it! Just 15 days away from the library's coolest event of the year. Heck, maybe ever! This wouldn't be possible without our cosponsors, Rowan County Veterans Museum and Rowan County Public Library. Register here: https://calendar.library.moreheadstate.edu/event/17229768

Break out the phone and make an event right now:
- Tue., 10/27 at 6PM
- Wear a costume! It's Halloween week, let's have fun
- There are tour guides and there will be 4 groups, departing every 15 min. between 6 and 7
- Meet at MSU Bell Tower (you can park on University Blvd and in employee parking behind the library after 5PM. MSU PD is aware of the extra traffic)
- The walk covers exactly 1 mile, going through parts of campus and downtown
- The walk ends at Sawstone downtown

*Special Updates!
- We will have a craft from 4-6PM, leading up to the event: button-making and postcard decorating, in theme with this event
- Ghost Walk After Dark Q&A with the actors, organizers, and historians from 8-9PM after the walk (more details coming soon!)
