Mrs. Christen has been located and is back at home with her family.

KSP Post 8 is seeking the public’s help in locating Angelika R. Christen, 72 years of age from Clay City, Kentucky. Angelika has been diagnosed with dementia. Mrs. Christen left her residence in Clay City around 2:00 p.m. today in a white Jeep Cherokee pictured below. She could possibly be in the London area. If you see her or have seen her please contact KSP Post 8 at 606-784-4127!

Post 8 would like to take a minute to thank Lt. Joe Dials and Sgt. Sam Lawson for their time and service while here at Post 8. We wish them nothing but the best as they begin their new assignments.

At the same time we are proud to congratulate newly promoted Sgt. Matt Martin and Sgt. Tyler Smith. Sgt. Martin will remain here at Post 8 and Sgt. Tyler Smith will be heading to Post 6 Dry Ridge.

Today we pause to remember the many lives lost on September 11, 2001 and the countless families forever changed by that tragic day.

We remember the firefighters, law enforcement, EMS personnel and citizens who ran toward danger while others were running away. Their courage, sacrifice and commitment to serving others continue to inspire those of us who wear the uniform today.

Twenty five years later, we continue to honor their memory by carrying forward the commitment to serve, protect and never forget those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. We remember, we honor and we will never forget.
