💚 Remembering Sandy Buehner 💚

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Sandy Buehner, who served as the Camp Registrar at Hiram House Camp from 1969 until her retirement in 2009.

For more than 40 years, Sandy was a steady, familiar presence at camp and the voice so many of you remember when calling Hiram House. She was part of the fabric of camp, helping generations of families connect with the Hiram House experience.

And if you knew Sandy, you knew NOT to touch her desk! 😂 Never remove a pen or pencil, because somehow, she would find you! That was Sandy — one of a kind, with a personality and presence that will never be forgotten.

Sandy was part of Hiram House history, and her legacy lives on in the countless campers, families, and staff members she touched throughout her years of service.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her husband, Tom, and all who loved her. We are grateful for the many years Sandy dedicated to Hiram House Camp, and we will miss her dearly.

Once part of the Hiram House family, always part of the Hiram House family. 💚
