As an active community member, I enjoy keeping the residents up-to-date on the Moreno Valley City business at hand. I will use this page to do just that.

I was having connection problems with the WiFi on Sunday during the Candidate's Forum. That is why you received bits and pieces of Facebook Live. Please go to Moreno Valley First page. Fred Banuelos was able to do the full taping.

Please review the following candidates. Do your research and remember to follow the money trail.

Our Waste Management bill went up by $20.40 per quarter, now costing $31.44 per month. No prior notification. Why? The City of Moreno Valley is one of the Cities that does NOT require customer notification for increases. Once again, a leadership issue. When are we going to learn.
The reason for the increase is the same answer-INFLATION. The gas prices they are having to pay at the pump.
The only way to reduce this is for SENIORS only. You must send a copy of your identification as well as the request for the Senior Discount. Then, if approved your 96 gallon Trash can will be replaced with a 35 gallon. Fax to 866-871-5576 or mail to:

In case you wonder what the Moreno Valley City Council has been doing in the last 4 years, you can THANK them for the 38 Cannabis related businesses in our communities. There are 25 already approved, 10 Provisionals and 3 Pending. All of this, under the leadership of our Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez. The same one running for Riverside County Board of Supervisor District 5. November elections will be here soon. Do your research.

UPDATE: April 12th, 2022 Special Election to fill District 1 City Council seat . Three Candidates Gerardo Mercado, Rene Ramos and Elena Baca Santa Cruz. Already the true colors of these candidates have come forward. Form 460 reflects that Elena (Victoria Baca's daughter) accepted a PAY to PLAY campaign donation of $4000 by Hall's Nursery in late December to secure a future majority approval. Back door deals. She learned from the best.
Do you want to know the connection? Even though the Planning Commission denied approval of the MV Trade Center, they appealed to the City Council to overturn the decision. Conveniently our Mayor tabled the vote to give the developer another opportunity to sweeten the deal to get the approval. Adam Hall's Nursery will benefit financially if the Trade Center is approved. HERE WE GO AGAIN....
