Did caulking before painting. Please help.. I'm new to home reno stuff and caulked my baseboards with waterproof caulking before I finished painting the walls or baseboards. The paint just comes off now. I tried going over it with regular caulking so I could paint it, but when I pulled the tape off, all the paint came off too. I've wasted so much time trying to fix this mistake. Do I have to cut the old caulking off or how do I go about fixing this?

Should middle plank going down hallway be perfectly centered? photo shows how I’m thinking about positioning the planks in the hallway (though obviously they’ll be staggered when I actually lay them).

I’m overthinking it and worried that it will have some weird visual effect if there’s a plank running down the exact center.

Should I position it like in the photo? or is it better to do more off-center?

edit: to be clear I’m replacing the 15-year-old cherry laminate floor with the lighter LVP. Summa y’all crazy telling me the existing floor is nice

Replacing damaged kitchen laminate with vinyl. Trying to decide between #1 and #2 aesthetically.
Both are 9 mm planks with 20 mil wear layers. #2 has beveled edges. Which looks best with our espresso cabinets?

Significant floor dip transition in new build. The builder repaired a large part of the floor due to a different issue and when they replaced the boards there's now a significant dip where the hardwood meets the tile.

Is there any advice on what to do here or am I SOL? The dip is bad enough to be a tripping hazard.

Definitely didn’t think everything through. Put this up around my yard. Plan was to dig a trench along fence line and put down w**d cloth/crushed rock. Should’ve done that before I put the fence up. Gonna be a real pain now.
