ACT might no longer exist, but the legacy of creativity continues through the work of our former students. Mad props to Tyler Oslie for this piece of his that Adobe used to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King with today. So proud of our former students and their continued creative spirit!

Creativity can lead to change. Dr. Martin Luther King’s words transformed civil rights and racial equality. His legacy inspires us to work towards a better future for all. Celebrate #MLKDay with @iamty1er illustration.

Back in the OG, Miller “The Godfather” days we had an named Philip ( ) who was making videos and what-nots for the projACTs. He just finished a short film and is in process of submitting it to festivals! Show him some love. The link to the film is in his bio.
ps. I know that ACT is no more, but the creatives are still hustlin’ so the push will now be to showcase what you all are doing post-ACT. Keep in touch, homies. I want to hear your stories…

Parting shot...
Traditionally, I post a pic around this time of my Chuck’s propped up on my desk in front of my empty classroom as a parting shot to the school year. This year, things are different. Not only have I been out of my classroom since before spring break, but for the first time in 21 years I will not be returning to the at Canyon Springs High School. As most of you know, I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach Graphic Design at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA!
As I look back at my time in ACT, my mind is flooded with many fond memories of the students, staff and the experiences we all shared together. Art shows, back to school bbq’s, field trips, hit n’runs, taco nights, and end of the year banquets were just a few of the wonderful opportunities we had to get to know people outside of the ACT lab. Each year was different and there was always a buzz of excitement at the start looking forward to what was to come. Being a part of ACT was a blessing... each and every year was a blessing... each and every class in the program was a blessing... and each and every person I encountered because of ACT was a blessing. So, thank you to each of you for making such an impact on my life.
