Congratulations to the Canyon Springs Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble on earning Unanimous Superior ratings at Saturday’s SCSBOA District Band Festival at Moreno Valley High School!

Unanimous Superior ratings are the highest honor an ensemble can receive at festival, and we are incredibly proud that both groups were recognized for their outstanding performances. This achievement reflects the dedication, preparation, and musicianship our students bring to the classroom every day.

We are proud to continue the strong tradition of excellence in the Canyon Springs Band program. Thank you to all of our students for your hard work, commitment, and passion for music, your efforts truly paid off! 🎶👏

Congratulations to our Canyon Springs Winter Guard on their 1st Place finish in the Scholastic A Division at the WGASC Westview HS show with a score of 75.00! 🎉

This is their first year competing in Scholastic A, one level higher than last year, and they are doing an amazing job.

We can hardly believe it — in just a little over 30 days, our students will step onto the legendary stage of Carnegie Hall for their debut performance! 🇺🇸🎺

This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these incredible young musicians. They have worked tirelessly, rehearsed countless hours, and earned the honor of performing on one of the most prestigious stages in the world.

That’s a wrap on an amazing 2025 marching season!

Our Cougars started the day at the beautiful Arcadia Band Review, where our band placed 1st in Class C with a 92.10, new parade program record! Also 3rd in Auxiliary! Huge thank you to Paul Bluto for your mentorship and for sharing your parade march with us.

From there, we headed to Long Beach Veterans Stadium for the SCSBOA 4A Championships, where our students placed 5th with an 86.20, setting a new highest score and placement in school history! Our Guard also had an incredible performance, taking 3rd with a 91.00!

We are so proud of our students’ hard work this year and incredibly grateful to our instructional staff for their dedication and support. And a heartfelt thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who have supported us every step of the way. This season is truly one we will cherish. On to the Winter seasons and preparing for our debut performance at Carnegie Hall this March!

Congratulations to our Cougar Canyon Regiment for being invited to perform at the SCSBOA 4A Championships at Long Beach Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025! We’re excited to take the field at 7:59 PM, performing third from the last group of the night!

Earlier that day, our Cougars will also be competing at the Arcadia Festival of Bands with a performance at 10:00 AM at Arcadia High School.

Come out and support our amazing students as we celebrate one final run to close out the season! 🎉🎶

First competition of the day done at the Riverside King Band Review! Our CCR took home 1st Place Band and 1st Place Auxiliary! Up next is the Lester Oaks Field Tournament here at MLK High School! Come on out and support our Cougars as they take the field at 6:30 PM!

What an incredible night at the 2025 Rancho Verde Field Tournament! Our Cougar Canyon Regiment earned an impressive 78.90 and took home Tournament Champions for the second year!
