St. Mary Outreach/United Way Together we can make a difference. Visit our website to find out how. www.stmaryoutreach.org St. We are not a monthly service.

Mary Outreach is a private, non-profit, and tax-exempt corporation, which is organized on a non-stock basis. We are a temporary emergency service center serving the east side of St Mary Parish from the Calumet Cut Bridge to Ameila. We provide food, hygiene & cleaning products, a clothing room, baby items such as formula and diapers and adult diapers. We assist with rent, utilities and life-sustaining medications, when funding is available. Clients must provide all income and bills for the current month and meet certain guidelines to qualify for any service that Outreach provides. We receive funding through foundations, civic organizations, businesses, churches, EFS, individuals and fund raisers. Donors are allowed to restrict their funding; for example they can limited the funding to certain demographic areas or to a particular type of service we offer such as funding to be used only for food. All clients are carefully screened by a caseworker and must be able to show their emergency need for our services. Clients must be able to show they are taking the necessary steps to improve their situation.
