On Sunday, October 25th we have two Student-Led STEAM activities for tweens ages 8-12. Please go to sccld.org/events register for the following events!

We have Astronomy for Tweens, led by the high school club Stellar Miracle, starting at 1:00 PM. In this program, students learn about the layers of the atmosphere, and why and how rockets are designed in order to navigate through space. This program includes hands-on activities that help apply both art and science to this topic!

Starting at 3:00 PM we have a Circuitry Workshop, led by The Future Engineers Club of Ann Sobrato High.
Join this workshop for hands-on activities to introduce kids to electricity and its various components! Kids will be able to try different activities and different stations with increasing levels of complexity, from LED lights to a servo motor!

This program is an approved Passion Project Proposal, and will be led by The Future Engineers Club, a group of Morgan Hill high school students volunteering to share their passions with the community!

For any questions, please contact Librarian Hannah Clement at [email protected]
