While we like to think that all of the library's resources are widely known, we know that many go unnoticed or overlooked. So that the library card perks are no longer "hidden" we've listed a few here -- but there may be even more!

Quality time together at the library!
Families came together to decorate their own family Jenga game sets, get creative, and make memories they can take home. There’s something special about bringing families together for fun, laughter, and time spent with one another!

The Jenga class is full for tonight! If you are registered, please enter the library through the back door. We look forward to seeing you!

Our phone and fax lines are currently down. We are working with AT&T to get these services back up and running as quickly as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue.

🎭 Calling All Young Theater Enthusiasts! 🎭

A small group gathered tonight at the library with hopes of starting a Junior Theater Club! We’re excited about the possibility of creating a space where young people can explore their creativity, build confidence, and discover the fun of theater.
If you have a child who loves acting, creating, painting, designing, or being part of the behind-the-scenes magic, we’d love to hear from you!

Contact Ms. Tracy at the library at 270-526-5722 for more information.

Let’s bring a little theater magic to Butler County!

Swedish Weaving, also known as Huck Weaving, is a relaxing and creative needlework technique that creates beautiful patterns by weaving thread through the surface of specially woven fabric. Instead of stitching through the fabric like traditional embroidery, the needle passes under and over the fabric threads, creating raised designs and repeating patterns.

Did you know you can sign up for one-on-one sewing lessons on Fridays at the library? Today, we had a young maker spend her Fall Break learning how to sew her very own hair scrunchie, and she did an amazing job! 🩷 We love helping our community learn new skills and discover their creativity! Call Tracy at 270-526-4722 to schedule your one-on-one lesson. Come learn something new, get creative, and discover what you can make at your library!
