A recent social media post claims that Election Judges writing on your ballot will cause your vote to be disqualified.

THIS IS FALSE!

✅ HERE ARE THE FACTS:

🗳️ Election Judges are REQUIRED to initial your ballot using a RED PEN before providing it to you.

🗳️ These red initials are an important election security measure and confirm that your ballot was properly issued by an Election Judge.

🗳️ In fact, without the Election Judge's red initials, your ballot may be disqualified!

⚠️ MISINFORMATION MATTERS!

This is a perfect example of how a small piece of truth can be twisted into a misleading story. Election Officials work hard to ensure voters receive accurate, reliable information about the election process.

Unfortunately, misleading posts like this create unnecessary confusion and distrust among voters.

As we have seen in the aftermath of the recent hurricanes and other disasters, water systems get compromised.

Storing emergency water is essential for ensuring you have a safe and sufficient supply during emergencies. It is recommended to store at least 1 gallon per person per day, for at least 3 days (preferably 2 weeks). This amount covers drinking and minimal sanitation needs.
