Our union is proud to host the AFFI District 2 Meeting at the Legion from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This educational meeting brings members together to learn about upcoming legislation, pension reform, workers’ compensation, changes to PFAS laws, budgetary information, youth education involvement, and union history to name a few topics.

Thank you to District Vice President Eric Hall and the AFFI Executive Board for their leadership and commitment to keeping our members informed.

Staying informed helps us better support our members and serve our communities throughout our region.

This is why we do it! We lost the softball game, but we both ultimately win when we can give back to charity!Morton Police Department and Morton Fire & EMS Local 4952 were able to donate $2575.00 to OSF Breast Cancer Support Services! Thank you to everyone that came and watched the game and donated! Next year will be bigger, better, and we will win!

Yesterday, Morton Fire & EMS Local 4952 and Morton Police Department had the first annual Strike Out Cancer Charity Softball Game! All proceeds will be going to breast cancer supportive services! MPD barely came out on top with a final score of 17-13…. Thank you to everyone that put in time and effort to make this happen! Special thanks to Leon Kenney and Bill Moore for umpiring.
