Have you seen our new friends greeting you on the walkway? 🎃🌾🐦‍⬛ Now through October 31, the Community Advisory Council is hosting a Scarecrow Showdown to help our neighbors at the North Pocono Dry Goods Pantry.

We challenged Clifton Township, Jefferson Township, Lackawanna County PA, Moscow Borough, Roaring Brook Township, and Thornhurst Township to get crafty and decorate the best and most beloved Scarecrow in all of North Pocono. But we need your help too!

🥫➡️🎟️ Exchange a dry good for a ticket when you visit the library to vote for your favorite scarecrow and most importantly, help a community member in need.

Your generosity helps us continue to grow and serve our community every day. Thank you for making a difference!

Thanks a million! 🥂🍾 With your help, we have secured $1,000,000 in pledges for the North Pocono Public Library Capital Campaign. We deeply appreciate your support and raise a glass to toast all of the campaign donors who are helping the library secure a debt-free future. The overall goal remains $1.2 million, but we want to celebrate this major milestone and community accomplishment. Board and Committee member, Marianne Gilmartin, had the honor of updating our campaign thermometer.

We are just 17% shy of our goal and as we near the finish line, your support now means more than ever. If you'd like to donate, please contact Christopher Kelly at [email protected] or 570.842.4700 x307.
