We have some great things coming up at FOB Columbia, and we’d love for you to join us! 💚

🍗Food Drive: October 26–November 20
Drop off non-perishable, unexpired food items at 1008 W Ivy Ave, Moses Lake, during our walk-in hours, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. We want to make sure we can provide good food to veterans and families who need a little extra help during the holidays and beyond.

🌅Operation Off-Road: November 7 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Meet us at First Pit at the Sand Dunes for some off-road fun, followed by a BBQ, bonfire! The goal is to get our veterans and their families out to the dunes for a fun ride and camaraderie! If you are available to give a veteran who may not have a 4x4, a ride please message us about this event!

🎄Holiday Basket Raffle: Tickets on sale late November
This fundraiser helps support our general fund, which allows us to help veterans with things like mental health and wellness, driver’s licenses and CDL permits, work uniforms, produce, fuel cards, and so much more. Winners will be drawn December 21, just in time for Christmas!

Most importantly, thank you to our community for always showing up, donating, volunteering, and believing in our mission. We truly could not do what we do without you. 💚

Thank you for helping us give back to those who have given so much for all of us!

Here at FOB Columbia: Veteran Resources we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make our recent windshield repair fundraiser such a success!

A special thank you to Als Glassfor hosting the event and for Justin and his team's continued commitment to supporting the veterans of our community. Through the generosity of Al's Glass Service, Inc. and everyone who participated, we were able to raise over $500 to support FOB Columbia's mission of serving veterans throughout Grant County.

Thank you to Jacob's Radio for giving us the opportunity to share our story and our vision for cultivating stronger connections and support systems for veterans in our community. Your platform helps us reach those who may need our services and those who want to help.

We would also like to recognize Steve McUne, owner of 'All American Plumbing' and his sons for volunteering their time and energy during the event. Community members like you help make these gatherings possible.

To all of our volunteers, supporters, veterans, and community members who attended, Thank you. We enjoyed serving burgers, and brats BBqd by Brandon Douglass l Real Estate Broker l Windermere Real Estate and sharing snacks, and refreshments while spending time together, meeting new people, and building meaningful connections. One of the greatest successes of the day was bringing veterans and civilians together, creating conversations, friendships, and awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing our veteran community.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us continue to support the veterans who have served our country.

Sincerely Yours,
FOB Columbia 🇺🇸

June is PTSD Awareness Month.

For many veterans, the battles don't always end when they come home. PTSD can affect daily life, relationships, physical health, and overall well-being. While the challenges may feel overwhelming at times, no one has to face them alone.

At FOB Columbia, we want every veteran and family member to know that support is available. Whether you're looking for resources, peer support, counseling referrals, or simply someone to listen, we're here to help connect you with the assistance you need.

Sometimes healing starts with something as simple as a conversation. We invite you to join us at any of our monthly events, grab a cup of coffee, stay awhile, and chat with fellow veterans who understand. There is no pressure, nor judgement, just a community that cares.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding PTSD and remind our veterans that they are never alone.

🇺🇸 Yours Truly, FOB Columbia.🇺🇸
