Ever wonder how corn can help fuel our vehicles? Or what happens to carbon dioxide when we store it underground? Join us for an afternoon of hands-on experiments, cool discoveries and a chance to think like a real scientist or engineer!

🧒 Open to ALL youth ages 5 and up! (4-H membership is not required to attend) Youth ages 5–8 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Youth that participate in the Chain Reaction Machine Challenge are engaging in engineering design. As a result of their participation, they report being able to work with a team to not only identify problems but to think of different ways to solve problems and make plans before building the solution.
