🔥 A Little Prevention Can Make a Big Difference!

When was the last time you checked your smoke alarms?

🏠 Test smoke alarms monthly.
🔋 Replace batteries when needed and follow the manufacturer’s replacement guidance.
🚪 Make sure everyone in your home knows two ways out of every room.
📍 Choose an outdoor meeting spot where your family can gather if there’s a fire.

Remember: Get outside and stay outside if a fire occurs. Call 911 from a safe location.

A few minutes of preparation today could save lives tomorrow. Help us keep Bannertown and our surrounding communities safe!

Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement can help make a difference. If you’ve already contributed, thank you for being part of this effort! If you haven’t had a chance yet, please consider supporting the fundraiser and sharing this post with your friends and family.

Let’s keep the support going and show Dakota what community truly means! 🙏❤️

🖤🚒 The Bannertown Volunteer Fire Department extends our deepest condolences to the Durham Fire Department following the tragic loss of a firefighter, Andrew Brokes in the line of duty.

Even though our departments are miles apart, the fire service is a family, and tragedies like this remind us how closely connected we all are. This loss has touched our department personally, as a former Bannertown firefighter and the son of one of our current firefighters was on the call. Our thoughts and prayers are with the fallen firefighter’s family, fellow firefighters, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss.

May we never forget the courage and sacrifice of those who answer the call to serve. Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here.
