Got to make sure they work! Our department will be conducting hydrant maintenance all over the City in the coming weeks. So if you see a hydrant on with no one around, no need to worry. We have to let the water run to clear up as much as possible to avoid dirty water issues. Any questions, call 336-786-3574.

Such a needless act of violence against someone who was trying to help. We can never let our guard down.

Kansas City Firefighter Paramedic Graham Hoffman, 29, was killed in the line of duty while transporting a patient after she allegedly stabbed him in the heart in the ambulance.
