🔬🧪 Science in Action! 🧪🔬

Mrs. Wolf’s 8th grade science class completed Part 1 of their Physical and Chemical Changes Lab! 🧑‍🔬 Students got hands-on experience exploring how matter changes and began investigating the differences between physical and chemical changes.

We love seeing our scientists learning, observing, and discovering through hands-on experiments! Way to go, 8th grade! 👏🔍

🌠 Wolverines, Look Up! 🌠
Tonight 10/21 is a chance to spot the Orionid Meteor Shower right here in Mount Gilead! ☄️🔭✨ Best viewing: After midnight, with the best chance to see meteors in the early morning hours before dawn. Find a dark spot away from streetlights and look up at the sky! 📸 If you happen to see one, take a picture and share it with your science teacher! 😂 We are NOT encouraging anyone to stay up late! We can always Google pictures and explore the meteor shower together tomorrow. 💜🐺 Once a Wolverine, always learning!

📚🪓 Thank you, Mr. Poole, for reading Chapter 11 of Hatchet and sharing fun facts about author Gary Paulsen with our 6th graders! The kids loved learning more about Brian’s survival journey (and those greasy turtle eggs! 😂🐢). We’re loving this novel! 💜🐺
