It has been brought to our attention that fire commissioner candidates George Gaskill and Tom Rossell have sent out a flyer which we will not post here to residents with the bottom left showing a Mount Holly Fire Dept Logo. We want to make it perfectly clear the Fire Dept does not endorse any candidates as we are not legally allowed to do. Although that patch is not a patch of any Fire Department or the Fire Districts it puts off a false sense of endorsements from the candidates from the Fire Department. We do not condone that form of misconception and want to make it clear it is not an endorsement from us. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
