The Cheney Lake Association (CLA) was organized in 1990 to provide support and promote awareness of Cheney State Park. The CLA is a non-profit organization whose goals are:

• Increase awareness and encourage the use of Cheney State Park and its facilities.
• Provide outdoor experiences and education for children and families.
• Provide support and manpower for the park staff and facilities.

It was a heck of a turn out for Cheney State Park first day hikes! The trails and parking lots were packed full of hikers on this brisk 40° day.
Shoutout to The Outpost for the free hot chocolate to help keep the hikers warm! We hope you all have a wonderful new years day and an amazing 2025🎉

It was brought to our attention that, Kevin, the owner of O'Brien's Marina was in a bad accident a couple weeks ago while cleaning debris out of the water around the marina boat slips. He's undergone several surgeries already and still has a long road ahead with more scheduled this month.
Please keep Kevin and Stephanie in your thoughts and prayers during this time. If you'd like to show your support, stop by the marina and buy some merch!

First Day Hike!

Hike will start at the park office (located on our West Shore) at 2pm, First Day Hike shirts are limited and first come first serve!
