The Republican Party of Montgomery County unanimously endorses Issue 2!

Issue 2 does not replace “shall not be infringed—it strengthens and clarifies it. It retains the explicit command that the right shall not be infringed while adding that the right is natural, fundamental, and individual, and expressly protecting fi****ms, ammunition, firearm components, and accessories. It provides more constitutional detail for courts to apply when determining whether government action violates the right. The purpose is not to weaken or rewrite “shall not be infringed,” but to give that protection greater constitutional substance and clarity.”

We'll discuss the upcoming election, campaign events, fundraisers, regional meetings, and how we can participate in these important activities to support our local and state government's daily functions.

Thank you to our great Congressman Bruce Westerman for his generous financial contribution to the Montgomery County Republican Committee - Arkansas. He is leading Arkansas with a strong moral compass. He's also authored or sponsored many congressional bills as Chair of the House Committee on Natural Resources GOP that have been signed into law by President Donald J. Trump. On behalf of Arkansas, we congratulate him on his great work in Washington D.C.

It was a pleasure to have the Arkansas Republican Party Executive Director, Drew Martin, visit Montgomery County to present our RPA state convention banner where we have deliberated and voted for leadership positions, brought amendments to the Republican Party of Arkansas constitution, and many other vital issues regarding the governance of the RPA over this last decade while seated under this banner bearing our county name. We're honored that Drew brought it home to proudly display at our county seat on the square.
