Gary for Wilson County District 4

08/08/2026

Congratulations to Commissioner Elect Robert Moxley - District 2 and Aaron D. Wilson for Wilson County Commission, District 20 on their wins, and to Chad Barnard on his here in District 4.

To the 300 people who cast a vote for me (exactly 300, which I enjoy more than I should): thank you. Putting my name forward to serve Wilson County was an honor, and your trust means a great deal to me.

My gratitude also goes to the Wilson County Democratic Party and to every volunteer who gave time this cycle. Voters showed up, volunteers worked, and Democrats made a real showing across the county.

Welcome to all of our new friends and followers!

I’m Gary E. Foresman, MD, and I’m honored to be running for Wilson County Commissioner for District 4.

I’ve spent my career listening carefully, solving problems, and putting people first. If elected, I’ll bring that same thoughtful approach to county government by listening to residents, asking good questions, and working to ensure that community voices are heard when decisions are made that affect all of Wilson County.

We’ve also made a few updates to the website, including a reminder about voter registration and upcoming voting dates. I’d be grateful if you’d take a look, share the page with your neighbors, and join the conversation.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and voted in yesterday’s primary election!

I’m grateful for the encouragement, conversations, and support we’ve already received throughout this campaign. We’re building this the grassroots way — neighbor to neighbor, conversation by conversation — and I’m excited to keep meeting more people across District 4 as we head toward the August 6 General Election.

And thank you to the Wilson County Election Commission and all the folks who help make local elections run smoothly.
