We invite you to learn more, help out and come visit us! Who We Serve:

Our clients come from the greater Mount Kisco area. People who walk through our doors include the working poor, the recently unemployed, families with young children, as well as those on fixed incomes. Some visit the pantry only occasionally, while others come on a regular, extended basis, depending on their need.

THANK YOU FOR TAKING ACTION AGAINST HUNGER!

Together, our community collected 5,300 pounds of food during Hunger Action Month in September!

From supermarket food drives and donations delivered directly to The Pantry to purchases through our Amazon Wish List, or patronizing our local business partners, every contribution made a difference.

We are deeply grateful to the local businesses and those shoppers, donors, community, members, and organizations that stepped up to help nourish our neighbors in need. Thank you for showing what’s possible when a community comes together!

Your generosity makes a difference. Together, we fight hunger.

A healthy community is a stronger community!

A longtime friend and supporter of The Pantry, Northern Westchester Hospital makes a difference for our neighbors!

During visits in September and October, the hospital’s wonderful team administered 78 flu vaccines to members of our Pantry community, and they’ll be back in November!

We’re so grateful for this ongoing partnership and their commitment to keeping our neighbors healthy. Thank you, Northern Westchester Hospital and its wonderful team!

WORLD FOOD DAY: Hunger is global. The solution starts local.

No one in our community should have to worry about where their next meal will come from.

Yet every week, thousands of our Northern Westchester neighbors rely on The Pantry for nutritious food. Behind every number is a family, a child, a senior, or a neighbor who needs a helping hand.

This World Food Day, turn awareness into action.

There are so many ways to make a difference:

• Make a financial contribution.
• Donate groceries or shop our Amazon Wish List.
• Volunteer your time.
• Organize a food drive with friends, neighbors, or coworkers.

You don’t have to do everything. Just do something.

Visit thepantryny.org to discover the many ways you can help nourish our neighbors.

💚 World Mental Health Day | October 10 💚

At The Pantry, we believe that nourishing our community means caring for both the body and the mind.

Access to nutritious food is an important part of overall well-being, and so is taking care of our mental health. This World Mental Health Day, let’s remember that small acts of self-care can make a big difference!

Here are a few simple ways to care for your mental health:

✨ Take a few deep breaths and give yourself a moment to pause.
🥗 Nourish your body with regular, balanced meals.
🚶 Spend a little time outside or enjoy a gentle walk.
💬 Reach out to a friend, family member, or someone you trust.
😴 Make time for rest and try to get enough sleep.
💚 Be kind to yourself. It’s okay to ask for help when you need it.

Remember, you deserve care, compassion, and nourishment in every way. There is no shame in reaching out for support, and no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Today and every day, let’s continue building a stronger, healthier, and more caring community together.

October 8 is DAF Day! Give Strategically. Give with Impact.

Your generosity can make a lasting difference for our neighbors. Consider supporting The Pantry through your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) or by making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA.

These thoughtful giving options can help you make a meaningful contribution while potentially offering valuable tax advantages.
Most importantly, your gift helps ensure our neighbors have reliable access to nutritious food—delivered with dignity, respect, and compassion.
