To our students, thank you for your hard work and persistence. To our teachers and support staff, thank you for caring deeply for our students and helping them learn. Families, thank you for supporting your children and partnering with us.

Hands-On Healthcare Learning at RCS!

Lakyn and Katie with AHEC visited Mrs. Myers’ classroom this week to share information about healthcare services and career opportunities. Students got hands-on experience learning how to suture, extract DNA from strawberries, and participate in an epidemic simulation!

Thank you, Lakyn and Katie, for giving our students such a fun and engaging look into the world of healthcare!

REASONS FOR SEASONS!
Yesterday, our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students had the opportunity to learn about conservation through an engaging program, “Reasons for Seasons,” led by Amanda Clough, Conservation Educator with the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources!
Amanda taught our students about the importance of understanding the seasons and how we can responsibly steward and care for Kentucky’s natural resources, including our wild game and fish.
Our students learned that conservation is about more than enjoying the outdoors—it’s about being responsible caretakers of the wildlife and natural resources that make Kentucky such a special place.
A huge THANK YOU, Amanda, for sharing your knowledge and passion for conservation with our students! We are so grateful for community partners who bring valuable learning experiences into our classrooms and help our students better understand the world around them.
When our community invests in our students, our entire community gets stronger!

🗺️❤️ Our Community is Special! ❤️🗺️

Mrs. Lora’s 1st graders wrapped up Module 2, “Our Community is Special,” by putting their learning into action and creating their very own maps of our community!

We loved seeing their creativity and learning come to life as they included important places and features that make our community special!

Great job, 1st grade! ❤️🖤
