FOR IMMEADIATE RELEASE

Rescue 101 SAR has opened a Crisis Cleanup Hotline for the severe weather event that hit our area. If you need help cleaning up damage from the storm, call (740) 207-2397 to ask for help. They will get you in connection with volunteers from local relief organizations, community groups and faith communities who may be able to assist with:

• Trees

• Muck Out

The services are free but are not guaranteed due to the overwhelming need. This hotline will remain open through Friday August 28, 2026.
PLEASE NOTE: this hotline CANNOT assist with social services such as food, clothing, shelter, insurance, or questions about FEMA registration. Volunteers work free of charge and provide the tools and equipment necessary to complete the work.

If there are any agencies or organizations who want to provide FREE assistance of any kind, they can register on their website at www.crisiscleanup.org.
