MPJH Student Council officers attended the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) 4/19 Fall Forum on Wednesday, October 21st.

Jaretzy Villeda and Nicholai Crabtree presented a table talk on D.A.S.H., while the other officers were able to learn about other important topics and leadership opportunities. The guest Speaker was State Representative, Keith Bell, inspiring them with his leadership experiences and expertise.

We are grateful for these leadership opportunities for our students!

The MPJH Choir Competed in the UIL/TMEA All Region auditions on Saturday, October 17th in Sulphur Springs.

"The choir students have worked hard to learn and master 3 selections to audition with and have been very successful. Each student was required to sing individually for a blind panel of judges then sight sing a melodic line to earn a spot. Of the over 300 entries 15 of the 18 students from MPJH that competed on Saturday earned a spot in the Region Choir, and will perform on November 7th at 4:00PM. Please congratulate these students for this outstanding accomplishment." - Joshua Miles, MPJH Choir Director
