🌱 Garden Club — Week 6! 🌱

It’s planting day! 🪴 The little seedlings the kids started a few weeks ago are ready to find their new homes in the garden!

This week we planted Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, parsley, dill, and more. 🥬🌿 It’s so exciting to see the kids’ hard work from those first tiny seeds turning into real plants growing in our garden.

And, of course, there was plenty of watering to keep our thirsty plants happy! 💦

From seed starters to seedlings in the garden, we’re watching the magic of growing unfold one week at a time.

Keep growing, little gardeners! 🌱💚

🌱 Garden Club — Week 5! 🌱

Our garden is getting ready for a whole new season of growing! 🥦🥬🌱

This week the kids learned about what plants need to grow — sunshine, water, healthy soil and plenty of care. ☀️💦 They also helped keep our plants happy and hydrated with lots of watering!

And the garden is getting some very important name tags! The kids made colorful beaded plant markers to identify all the new crops we’ll be growing, including cauliflower, kale, broccoli and lettuce. 🥦🥬

It’s so much fun watching the kids learn not just how to grow things, but everything that goes into caring for a garden.

Lots of growing, lots of learning, and lots more to come! 🌿💚
