We received a lot of books this morning….. if we don’t have what you are wanting at our library, we can most likely get it from one of the other libraries in our consortium.

The Huff children, along with Mitchell Litterly, planted pumpkins from seed that they got from our Library Seed Exchange. They did a great job! They brought them in for us to see. It made our day!!!

Tonight we have one of our more popular events, especially during spooky season. Join Adam White this evening at 6PM as he presents on True Crime.

Please mark your calendars for next month's YOGA WITH LORI. This is FREE to adults/teens/tweens......last night we only had one person in attendance and we would really LOVE to keep this program going. The next Yoga Program is November 16th at 5PM---please set a reminder. Let's see how many people we can get!

We still have PLENTY of Halloween costumes. Stop in and grab one. You don't have to bring one in to take one. We just want the kids in our community to have a fun Halloween.

Another MPGS Kid Librarian of the Week. Avery was one of only a handful of Kid Care kids who finished our Summer Reading Program.

This week, we are excited to feature Avery, a 4th grader, as our Kid Librarian of the Week!

Favorite Books: My Weird School series
Favorite Character: Andrea
Favorite Author: Dan Gutman

Avery’s Book Recommendation:
“I think everyone should read My Weird School books because they are funny and fun to read. So I think everyone should read them!”

If Avery were the librarian for a day, she would “pick books I like and other books kids would like.” We love that Avery wants to help other students find books they will enjoy, too!

Here's what is happening at the library this week....we have YOGA TONIGHT at 5PM. We would love for you to join us.

We have a number of homeschool families who use our library---and we love it! If you are a homeschool family and would like to know how we can help, please don't hesitate to reach out. Amanda's favorite part about homeschooling families using the library, is trying to figure out what they will be studying based on the books they have ordered :)

We have a story time TODAY at 3:30 and please mark your schedules for next week's events. We have Yoga on Monday at 5pm and Adam White (True Crime Event) on Tuesday at 6pm. The rest of our October events are on the calendar below.
