Kratom is everywhere and is sold at most gas stations, but that doesn't make it safe. Kratom activates the same opioid receptors in the brain as, you guessed it, opioids such as morphine, codeine, he**in, oxycodone, and more. Many people use kratom in their recovery journey to get off of opiates, but many relapse as withdrawals from kratom creep in. The best thing to do is to work with your healthcare professional and avoid kratom all together.

For more information on the dangers of kratom, visit the Mayo Clinic's article here: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/prescription-drug-abuse/in-depth/kratom/art-20402171

🚨RECALL ALERT🚨
Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Powdered Infant Formula is currently under investigation for suspected botulism.

Recommendations:
- Parents and Caregivers should stop use of Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula immediately. If your child is experiencing symptoms (see below) after consuming Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula and you still have the formula in your home, please record/take a picture of the information on the container before throwing it away.

- Consider retaining any opened formula. If your infant develops signs and symptoms of infant botulism, the state health department may want to test it.
Label it “DO NOT USE” and keep it stored in a safe place away from other items you feed your baby for at least a month.

- If no symptoms appear after a month, throw the leftover formula away.
Wash items and surfaces that may have touched the formula using hot soapy water or a dishwasher.

- Botulism can be fatal, and you should take action right away. If your child has consumed Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula and is experiencing signs and symptoms of botulism such as poor feeding, loss of head control, difficulty swallowing, or decreased facial expression, seek immediate health care.

- If you are a Physician and suspect an infant patient has botulism, immediately call the Infant Botulism Treatment and Prevention Program at 510-231-7600 for case consultation. Consultation is available 24/7.
