👻🎃Join us for our Haunted History Tours while taking a literal stroll with the spirits along Mt. Vernon's riverfront. This is a family friendly event. If you missed it last year, here's your chance to catch it again! You can pre-register on our website:

First tour leaves at 6 pm each night, last tour leaves at 8 pm. Please check-in 15 minutes prior to your tour time and take a walk through Marty's Mobile Mudroom that will be transformed into a haunted swamp.

Saturday’s tours are also at risk of being cancelled. Please pre-register if you are interested in coming Saturday so we can plan!

We are so excited to be returning to Lyles Station Historic School and Museum to join in their fall festivities! We'll be there with our Haunted Swamp on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 1-8pm. Hope to see you there!!

🏡 WE FINALLY HAVE A HOME!! 🏡 And we need your help....

We are SO excited to officially announce that Mudpuppy Palace has an address:

📍 6580 S Indian Mound Road, Mt. Vernon, IN

Now…don’t get the cart before the horse. 😉 We still have a TON of work to do before we can actually “move in.”

For years, this property has been farm ground. Right now, it’s a blank slate. No utilities. Little to no access. No parking. No buildings. Nothing.

A few months ago, we launched our Capital Campaign with an incredibly generous pledge from Toyota USA Toyota Motors Manufacturing Indiana to help kick-start this next chapter.

We are planning to bring Mudpuppy Palace to life in phases, and Phase One is all about creating the foundation we need to finally have a permanent place to call home.

That means things like:
🚧 Access to the property
💧 Utilities
🚗 Parking
🏡 A building where we can work, gather, host classes and events, and park Marty's Mobile Mudroom

The dream is still a long way from finished, but for the first time, we can look at a piece of land and say:

“This is where Mudpuppy Palace is going to be.” We’ve spent 4½ years building the dream. Now it’s time to build the place.
