📚I Don't Like People Book Club Discussion📚
🔎The Thursday Murder Club--Richard Osman
Who knew retirement could be so entertaining? The Thursday Murder Club brings together four retirees who prove that curiosity, intelligence, and a knack for getting into trouble don't disappear with age!
I really enjoyed the mix of humor, mystery, and unexpected turns in this story. The characters bring so much personality to the pages, and there's something particularly fun about watching them approach a murder investigation with their own unique experiences and perspectives. But underneath all the wit and charm, this book has a few darker corners that make it more than just a cozy mystery.
It got me thinking about how we define right and wrong, whether justice always looks the way we expect it to, and how well we can ever truly know another person. And just when you think you might have things figured out, the story gives you more to consider!
💬 Your turn, fellow mystery lovers! Who was your favorite member of the club? What did you think of the twists? Did you find yourself rooting for certain characters even when their decisions were questionable?
Share your thoughts in the comments. Let's see if we can agree on anything—or if this discussion becomes its own mystery! 😉📚

🐙 Remarkably Bright Creatures--Shelby Van Pelt
What if an unexpected friendship could change the way you see the world? Remarkably Bright Creatures is a heartwarming, thought-provoking novel about Tova, a widow who finds comfort in working at a local aquarium, and Marcellus, a remarkably intelligent giant Pacific octopus with a perspective all his own.
As their unlikely connection grows, secrets begin to surface, lives intertwine, and the story explores grief, loneliness, friendship, and the surprising ways we find connection when we least expect it. With a touch of humor, plenty of heart, and a unique narrator, this story reminds us that sometimes the most meaningful relationships come from the most unexpected places.
