Youthnet is celebrating the completion of a new 83.3 kW solar array at our Mount Vernon campus! What began with an opportunity to pursue solar funding grew into a community effort involving grant support, a necessary roof replacement, community fundraising, and the expertise of partners who helped bring this vision to life.
With support from Puget Sound Energy Solar Enhanced Incentive and the work of Western Solar Inc., this project represents an investment in Youthnet's future and the children, youth, caregivers, and families we serve.
The system is expected to generate approximately 83,000 kWh of clean electricity each year, helping reduce ongoing utility costs and redirect those savings back to the work that matters most.
