‼️MHAFB Housing Inspections‼️
🟑local agencies are NOT conducting the inspections.

Mountain Home AFB will conduct mandatory housing inspections 26 Oct–6 Nov as part of the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

🟑What: Independent, qualified third-party inspectors will evaluate 211 housing units, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural systems, water intrusion, mold, and indoor air quality.
🟑Who: AFCEC/JLL-contracted inspectors
🟑When: 26 Oct–6 Nov
🟑Where: Selected MHAFB housing units
🟑Why: NDAA requires inspection of at least 5% of DAF family housing inventory every five years‼️
πŸ“§ Selected residents will receive notification and scheduling information.
πŸ“£Residents may also volunteer❗️ to participate. Inspections are mandatory for selected units. If a resident does not schedule or is unavailable for the assigned appointment, the DAF may exercise Right of Entry with 24-hour notice.

Dear Residents FROM YOUR MHFH TEAM:

We are committed to supporting military families throughout every stage of living with us, including during deployment, and your feedback can help us better understand how we’re doing.

We’re asking residents to take a few minutes to complete our Deployed Spouse Program Survey. The survey will help us better understand awareness of the program, the challenges families experience during deployment, and opportunities to strengthen the support and resources available to our community.

Whether you have used the Deployed Spouse Program, have only heard of it, or are learning about it for the first time, we want to hear from you!

Click or Scan the QR code! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YJYRXBK

The survey is now live and will remain open through October 2, 2026. It should take only a few minutes to complete.

Thank you for sharing your experience and helping us continue to improve the support we provide to military families.

Sincerely,
Mountain Home Family Housing Team
