Good news! You can now filter AI out of Libby!

Libby is the service we partner with to provide ebooks and audiobooks free with your library card. They have just launched controls to allow users to filter out AI content. Here's how:
- Log in to Libby.
- At the bottom of the screen, choose the circle for your account.
- Choose Settings.
- Choose Content Controls.
- Choose AI Contributions.
- Choose "Human only" for Text, Audio, Graphics and/or Translation.
- Turn off "Where to apply filters/Deep search only."
- Done!
Also new in Libby:
- Each title will display AI content disclosures (provided by publishers).
- Readers can report content you're concerned is unlabeled AI.
- Additional staff-side tools have been added to assist librarians in recognizing AI content when selecting titles for our collection.

New to Libby? Check it out! Download the Libby app or click this link and log in with your library card.

This Tuesady, Oct. 20th at 6:00 pm, we are showing Ghostbuster II (rated PG).
This is an Interactive movie. The first 30 participants will receive a goody bag packed with props and cues to interact with the movie while it plays. Watch the Movie. Follow the Script.

Please note – This movie was produced for an older audience and does contain harsh language, adult humor, and scary images that may not be suitable for our youngest patrons.

October StoryStroll is out! This month's story is titled, Watch Out For the Lion!, narrated by Lions Club of Mountain Home Idaho member Bryan Straw.

Each story selected will have a special community guest narrator recording accessible through a posted QR code for each page so that anyone with a smartphone or tablet could scan it and hear the narration. The library is tickled to have this feature available and encourages families to get outside and enjoy this addition to the walking path.

Stories will be changed out every month. Hidden within the StoryStroll, there will be a QR Code to enter into a monthly raffle for a chance to win a copy of the story for that month.
