Mountain Home Animal Control Center We are their shelter, you are their future. If you are looking for a new pet, the Mountain Home Shelter would be your best bet.

ADOPTING FROM THE SHELTER...
The Mountain Home Shelter takes stray cats and dogs of various sizes, breeds and colors. You can adopt one pet for $30.00 or two for $50.00. The animal must be spayed or neutered within 60 days at your own cost. It is the goal of the Mountain Home Animal Shelter to prevent unwanted animals, and by spaying or neutering this will greatly decrease the overpopulation. For more information on adopting a pet at the shelter, contact us at 208-587-2111 Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM, to 6:00 PM.

**NOT LOCATED AT CENTER**
Our boy needs a new home. His name is Cruise - as in, he comes at you like a cruise missile - and he’s almost 3 years old, neutered, and up to date on shots (we use Knight Vet). His breed is a mishmash of various things, most notably Boxer, Pit, and American Staffy - he’s a combination of herding and guarding breeds, so he’s very smart and very stubborn. He loves hard and plays hard, and he will be your BEST FRIEND EVER if you have a ball and/or let him sleep on the bed. Since he plays hard and doesn’t know how strong he really is, he likely shouldn’t be around small children or the elderly. He gets along beautifully with two of our other dogs but does NOT get along with our third, which has resulted in him completely dominating her (and her being afraid and stressed). We think he needs to be a single dog in a house where he gets the attention he needs/demands. This is not the resolution we wanted - we love him SO MUCH - but unfortunately this is the best solution for all involved. He is located in Mountain Home ID and has always been a beloved member of our family. Please contact me - and please be kind - if you’re interested in giving him a home. Thanks in advance.

**NOT LOCATED AT CENTER**
Bella (gray female) and Cheddar (orange male) are two bonded kitties, around 1 year old, looking for their forever home together! They are super sweet, playful, affectionate, and love being together. They would make wonderful companions for someone looking to add two loving kitties to their family. Because they’re bonded, they would do better in a home where they can stay together. If interested please contact Haleemah at
