Cadets meet or "drill" at Moffett twice monthly through out the year. The unit is structured along military lines and is designed to foster team work, camaraderie and an understanding of the military command structure. During the summer cadets attend two-week trainings in all Navy fields ranging from Basic Training ("Boot Camp"), Master-at-Arms, sailing, SEAL training, seamanship, airman, etc. Cad

Moffett Squadron and TS Orion had a fantastic Annual Inspection today! Both units improved their scores from last year. We had a great turnout, handed out about 10 promotions, and announced our cadets of the year. Congratulations Moffett and Orion! And congrats to LC3 Kody Duong, League Cadet of the Year, PO3 Hanness Yeung, Sea Cadet of the Year, and LT Moore, Officer of the year!

Cadets had an awesome day of archery today! After a 1hr brutal hike uphill to the range, we spent a couple hours learning how to shoot, then spent time on the practice range! The cadets much preferred the hike back downhill at the end of the day.
