Our final Recruitment Workshop session is just one week away, and it tackles what could be the most difficult aspects of the hiring process -- the background investigation, the medical exam and the psychological exam. All three are crucial to ensuring that you, as a potential police officer, are well equipped to not only handle the physical, but the mental aspects of the job as well.
Join us next Wednesday, March 7, at 6 pm right here at MVPD as we go over these last hurdles to not only help educate you, but to help enlighten you about what you can expect in this final phase! Know someone who would like a career in law enforcement? This is a must-see class! For those who can't attend in person, never fear, we'll be livestreaming once again right here on our page.

We have less than a week until our annual Cops That Care event, and the program simply wouldn't be as wonderful if it weren't for the generosity of our community. With our 15th annual event coming this Saturday, we are 90% closer to our goal of providing families in need with a truly special holiday.
Can you help us over that final hurdle? We want to ensure that Mountain View children of all ages get to have a holly, jolly holiday with their families during this most wonderful time of the year.

Don't forget to check out the Monday Meets with one of our coaches, Marc Shaw!
Monday Meets: Meet our Net Gain Tennis Program Coach Marc Shaw. Here's what he has to say about the Net Gain Tennis Program and why he volunteers every year:
"I guess the best part for me is when I see one of our Net Gain Alumni out and about in Mountain View, and they come up to me and ask if I’m Coach Marc. There always seems to be a "thank you" and "I had a lot of fun at NetGain".
When Chris and Gerry came to me with the idea of a program for kids, I was immediately all in. The fact that could give back to our community was wonderful. The experience with so many middle schoolers and their families has been very rewarding.
I really enjoyed working with Officers McGee, Officer Ken, and Magana. They really gave a personal face to the MVPD, for some of the kids we work with-who can be reluctant to interface with our local police officers."
