2026 Innovative Learning Grant Spotlight

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ The Innovative Learning Grant for Minako Walther's MVHS Japanese 4/AP class was a collaborative, student-centered activity in which students created a class yearbook entirely in Japanese. The project integrated language use, cultural reflection, creativity, and technology, resulting in a tangible product that represents both linguistic growth and community building.

β€œThese grants are intended to foster innovation while cultivating exciting new collaborations among students. The projects may also serve as pilot programs which, if successful, could become part of the curriculum in the future.” – Brigitte Sarraf, Former Associate Superintendent
