In our September Battle Assembly, 445 CA BN held a change of command ceremony for our incoming Commander, LTC Miller. Outgoing Commander, LTC Moore, delivered great words of wisdom to the battalion as seen on our live recording. Please give a warm welcome to LTC Miller and his family as he takes on a major leadership role in the 445 CA BN. We wish both gentlemen the best of luck on their careers!

Today we honor our four legged partners who play a crucial role. In strengthening our community and deepening our connections.

On this National Dog Day, we celebrate the incredible bond between Soldiers and their K9 companions. In 2012, our 445th Civil Affairs Battalion soldiers played a vital role in training security German Shepherds for the Afghan National Army. These brave dogs were more than just pets- they became protectors and partners.

Today we are proud to honor Staff Sergeant Gregoire, who has made the honorable decision to continue serving our nation by reenlisting. Thank you, Staff Sergeant Gregoire, for your continues service and for being an outstanding example of a Soldier. Please join us in congratulating SSG Gregoire on his reenlistment!
