NEVER FORGET | SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
Twenty-five years later, we still remember.
We remember the 2,977 lives taken.
We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and civilians who ran toward the danger while others were running away.
We remember the families who never got to say goodbye.
And we remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed.
As firefighters and EMS providers, we understand the call to serve — to answer when the tones drop, to step forward when others need help, and to put others before ourselves.
Mullens Fire Department honors the heroes of September 11th and the countless first responders who continue to carry their legacy forward every day.
We will remember their names.
We will remember their sacrifice.
We will never forget.
Never Forget. Always Honor. Always Serve.
