Last weekend, members participated in a live burn hosted by Dushore and Mildred fire companies. This sort of training is exceptionally valuable to our members and we are very appreciative to be able to take a part in it. Engine 1-52 also assisted in fill site operations during the burn. Huge shout out to everyone who made this possible and Through the Smoke Project for the photos.

🕠 Doors Open: 5:30 PM
🎉 Drawings: 7:00–10:30 PM
🎫 Donation: $40 per ticket

This morning, Station 52 and Station 57 provided standby coverage for Picture Rocks Volunteer Fire Company (Station 26), allowing their members to attend the funeral of a fellow EMT and member. Crews from Engine 1-52 and Ladder 57, alongside Chief 52, Chief 2-57 and Chief 57, served as the duty crew.

It is with profound sadness the membership of Picture Rocks Volunteer Fire Company announce the unexpected death of one of our own. Roberta “Bert” Phillips has dedicated countless hours to the community through the fire company as an EMT, ambulance captain, secretary, and numerous fundraising committees. Bert was always working behind the scenes ordering and preparing food for our fundraisers.

Our hearts go out to Bert’s family and friends during this difficult time.

8/27/2026 at 6:35pm Station 52, along with boats from Station 50 (Laporte) and Station 26 (Picture Rocks), were dispatched for a water rescue at 770 Route 220 in Davidson Township. Chief 52 arrived on scene, finding an individual trapped inside the house on the second story with water blocking the only entrance to the apartment.

Engine 1-52 arrived, and crews put a ladder to the second story window and were able to safely remove the victim from the house.

Ambulance 52 transported the individual back to the fire house until they were able to get picked up.

Boats from 50 and 26 stood by in the event that there could be more issues in the area.

Station 52 and 26 fire police assisted with the road closures until PennDot took over.

While doing traffic control, fire police encountered a group of four vehicles and a tractor trailer who did not stop and ran through the flooded roadway. A friendly reminder for all motorist to be alert, stop for fire police, and do not drive through flooded roadways.

The Muncy Valley Area Volunteer Fire Company will be having their 14th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday July 17, 2026 at Mill Race Golf Course in Benton, PA.

We hope you will come out and support our fire company and play a round of golf! You can use the forms posted below to sign up.
