Here is a good overview of our layout this year. Veterans Plaza will host a green space to sit and eat all those goodies you find, with our food vendors. Maybe even just for a great place to rest from all the vendor shopping! Tables and chairs are being provided by Abby Farms this year. The Celebrate Information Station can be found on the the stage. We will have vendor lists, maps, and this years Celebrate shirts!

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout October, the Munford Police Department proudly joins our community in recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We honor the survivors who fought and won, stand beside those who are still fighting, remember those we have lost, and support the families and loved ones who have walked alongside them.

To every survivor—your strength, courage, and perseverance inspire us. 💗City of Munford

Munford Police Department
Public Information Release
Incident: Centennial Park – Reported Armed Party/Fight

Munford Police Officers responded to Centennial Park following a 911 call reporting an armed individual and a possible fight.

Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile near the park’s main entrance. The juvenile cooperated with officers and consented to a search of his person. No fi***rm was located on or around the juvenile.
Witnesses reported observing the juvenile wearing a mask and a hooded sweatshirt while reaching for what appeared to be a reflective object. However, no witnesses reported actually seeing a fi***rm. The mask described by witnesses was also never located.

Officers were unable to substantiate reports of a physical altercation.
The juvenile was subsequently released into the custody of his foster parent. A juvenile petition, for an unrelated charge, will be filed in juvenile court.

The Munford Police Department appreciates the citizens who promptly reported their concerns and assisted officers during the investigation. Public safety remains our top priority.
