Here's a few videos from tonight

Rookie vs seasoned vet
They were not racing, they were just putting gear on like they were getting ready to roll out on a structure fire or car fire. We were demonstrating how fast we go from looking like a normal person to looking like an alien or scary person to these kids. Just a little fun exercise for another rookie Mr Jaydin Pinson

I have to post tonight's videos one by one sorry guys with the Cub Scout Pack 316 Cropwell Alabama

Tonight we had the Cub Scout Pack 316 Cropwell Alabama visit our station today. We gave them a little tour, showed them how we get ready for a structure fire, showed them how the trucks operate, some of the tools we use, let them have some fun by spraying some water from the tanker, they played with the sirens and lights, took them for a ride around the block and gave them some goodie bags. We really enjoyed having everyone there and hope to be able to do it again soon.

We tried to make sure everyone was able to be involved in some type of way and was able to understand what the most important things are especially during a house fire!

Until next time our little friends I hope you had fun because we did....

Thanks,
Munford Vol Fire Dept Members!

I am so proud of all the members and the officers, current and new officers for the future. You devote so much of your time with Zero pay and I feel you ALL need recognition for that.

🚒 A PROUD MOMENT FOR MVFD! 🚒

We are incredibly proud to announce that Munford Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Prevention Officer Richard Embry have received THREE statewide Fire & Life Safety award nominations!

🏆 Community Impact Award — Munford Volunteer Fire Department
🏆 Chief Advocate for Prevention Award — Richard Embry
🏆 Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year — Richard Embry

With approximately 1,100 fire departments across Alabama, along with universities, schools, organizations, and other agencies, simply being recognized among these nominees is an incredible honor.

But these nominations represent something even bigger to us. MVFD has never before been recognized at this level for the growth and impact we are making in our community. That progress is only possible because of the dedication of our members and officers working hand in hand toward the same goal—to protect, educate, and serve Munford.

From identifying risks to educating our community and preventing emergencies before they happen, every member has a part in making these goals possible.

We may serve a small town, but it’s a small town with a BIG heart and an incredible love for our community. ❤️🚒

This recognition belongs to all of MVFD and the community that stands behind us.
