🌲🚨Blackwater River State Forest Update 🚨🌲

Effective October 21, 2026, all campgrounds that were closed due to Hurricane Isaias have reopened except for Coldwater Equestrian Campground and Clear Creek Campground. The Bear Lake Mountain Bike Trail, Karick Lake Loop Trail, and the Camp Paquette Trail have reopened for normal use. All other trails and Recreation Areas remain closed as debris removal and cleanup efforts continue this week. Once areas have been cleared of debris and deemed safe, they will reopen for normal use. We apologize for any inconvenience.

⚡ STILL WITHOUT POWER? PLEASE REPORT YOUR OUTAGE AGAIN! ⚡

WE KNOW THERE ARE STILL MEMBERS WITHOUT POWER! We are not asking you to call because we think everyone has been restored. We are asking because we don't want to overlook a single member!

As we continue restoration efforts, we are checking, double-checking and triple-checking our outage reports to make absolutely certain we have everyone accounted for.

We have listened to all the messages left on our outage line, and we know we previously told you that if you've already reported your outage, there was no need to call again.

However, we are now asking EVERY member who is STILL without power to please call and report their outage again, even if you've already left a message.

We know this is an extra step, especially after everything you've been through, but we would much rather receive a duplicate report than risk missing someone who is still waiting.

📞 HOW TO REPORT YOUR OUTAGE:

Call 1-877-OUT-EREC (877) 688-3732

Press 1 to report an outage.

The system will confirm your address. Press 1 to confirm.

When asked if you know what is wrong, press 1 or say YES.

Leave a message with your NAME, ADDRESS and CONTACT PHONE NUMBER.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please complete ALL the steps and leave a message. If you hang up before leaving your message, we will NOT have a record of your outage report.

Please understand, we KNOW our work is not finished. We KNOW there are still outages. This is simply one more way we are making sure no one falls through the cracks as we work toward restoring every last member.

Thank you for your patience and for helping us help you.

Thank you Erec

UPDATE TO ADD: The colors do not mean anything. We are just trying to show what substation serves which area.

RESTORATION CREW LOCATIONS – OCTOBER 15, 12:00 P.M.

We know many of you are wondering where crews are currently working. Below is a breakdown of where the majority of our manpower and equipment were located as of 11:30 a.m. today.

We are also sharing a very rough, generalized map showing the areas served by each of our substations. Please understand these boundaries are approximate and are intended only to give you a general idea of which substation may serve your area.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a cumulative list of all crews working throughout our service territory. It is simply a snapshot of where the bulk of our manpower is currently assigned. Restoration efforts are very fluid, and crews are constantly moving as work is completed and new needs arise.

CURRENT CREW LOCATIONS:

Inside the Sting Jet Area (hardest hit):

Remember, just because you don't see trucks on your road doesn't mean work isn't being done to restore your power. Crews may be working miles away on the lines and equipment that serve your home.

We continue to move crews and resources where they are needed most. Our goal remains the same, getting power restored to every member as quickly and safely as possible.

Thank you for your continued patience and support!
