A little schoolwork, a little basketball, and a whole lot of fun! 🏀 Sometimes the best part of the school day is simply getting to hang out with friends, share some laughs, and enjoy a change of scenery! Our monthly student meetups are always a great reminder of how important these moments are. A big thank you to our wonderful neighbors at Patterson Park Community Center for sharing your game room and basketball court with our students. We love seeing these smiles and friendships grow! 💙

🎉🏆 WE’RE #1 IN TENNESSEE! 🏆🎉 We are beyond excited to announce that Rutherford County Virtual School has been ranked the #1 Best Public Online High School in Tennessee by Niche in its 2027 rankings! 💙💻 This incredible recognition reflects the dedication, innovation, and heart that our teachers, staff, students, and families bring to RCVS every single day! We couldn’t be prouder of our school community and the incredible educators who go above and beyond to make RCVS such a special place. 🤩🐾 We have one more PAW-some club adventure to share! 🐱💕 The Friday before fall break, our Rutherford County Virtual School Small Animal Club had a PURR-fect time visiting Catfeine Cat Café in Murfreesboro! 🐈☕ Students spent time with friends while meeting, playing with, and giving lots of love to adorable rescue cats waiting for their forever homes! 🥹🐾 One of the things we love most about RCVS is how our unique school experience allows students to learn from home while still enjoying incredible opportunities to connect, explore, and make memories together! 💙 From virtual classrooms to kitty cuddles, our students really do get the best of both worlds! 🤩🐈 A big thank-you to Catfeine for providing such a special experience for our students! 🐾💕

🎉 We’re excited to kick off Quarter 2 at Rutherford County Virtual School! 💙💻 As we head back to school tomorrow, we’re looking forward to even more Connection Fridays, clubs, and opportunities for our students to build friendships beyond the screen! Before fall break, our students enjoyed another fun-filled club day! 🎣 Our Weather or Not Club went fishing, 🎨 our Art Club enjoyed painting at the park, and 🧪 our Hands-On Science Club investigated chemical reactions and pH using red cabbage juice as an indicator! We love seeing our students explore new interests, share experiences, and make meaningful connections with their peers. ❤️ Virtual learning doesn’t mean missing out on the fun, friendships, and memories that make school special! We can’t wait to see what Quarter 2 brings! 📸✨
