Tomorrow is the big day! 🦸

Our Elementary School Run Cougar Run and Middle School Cougar Color Games are happening tomorrow, and tonight is the last chance to get pledges in before the event.

Tonight's hero checklist:
✅ Get those final pledges in
✅ Lay out comfy shoes
✅ Plan a good breakfast and plenty of water
✅ Get a great night's sleep
✅ Tell your student how proud you are of them

The final superpower, the one that brings it all together: HERO. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Today's lesson hit different. Our students learned that being a Super Hero isn't about flying or having super speed. It's about the choices you make every single day. Kindness, taking action, standing up for what is right.

And then came the moment that lit up the room: "You're already Super Heroes!" Steady, Uplifter, Purpose, Extra Mile, Reliable. These powers were living inside our students from the beginning. This heroic quest just helped them realize the power they already had.

Their chant today says it all: "Super Heroes lead with heart, Super Heroes from the start."

Two weeks of superpowers. Tomorrow, our students put them all into action. 💛

Week two, let's go! Our Run Cougar Run and Cougar Color Games is coming up this week. 🦸

Our ELC, elementary, and middle school students have already unlocked two superpowers: Steady and Uplifter. This week they add Purpose, Extra Mile, Reliable, and HERO to the lineup, and then everything comes together on event day.

Today’s mission for our Super Hero families! 📲

Pick 5 people to share your student's pledge page with. Grandparents, coworkers, neighbors, old friends. People from anywhere in the world can pledge, and it takes just a minute.

Please share directly from your student's page on myapexevent.com. Every pledge supports our school and helps raise funds for School Improvements and Upgrades which include Elementary and Middle School Art Galleries and Showcases along with Middle School lockers and Enhancements to Student Life across all three schools.

The first three shares mean the most! Who's your first share going to? 💛

Superpower of the day: Purpose. 🎯

Today our students learned that Purpose means knowing your "why" and letting it guide your choices. Not just going through the motions, but moving with real direction toward the things that matter to you. They talked about how staying focused is tough when distractions are everywhere.

The lesson used Stephen Curry as an example: the NBA's all-time leading three-point scorer didn't get there overnight. He practiced thousands of shots, day after day, even when he was tired. Those small steps, repeated with real effort, built something incredible. The same is true for our students.

Their leadership challenge: do one thing today that shows the kind of person you want to become. At the end of the day, check in and ask: "Did my actions match the purpose I want to live out?" 💛

The train will be rolling, the carnival in sight,
With food, fun, and laughter from morning ’til daylight.
