Thank you Murfreesboro and surrounding areas! PorkFest was an amazing success and it’s because of our community. Did we learn some more things about our event, we sure did. We will aim to make it even better next year!

We’ve had an amazing response to PorkFest. We do hav extras BBQ and sides available on a first come first serve basis at the murfree center.

8” Barbecue chopper Hand made Forged full tang 1095 steel with custom made micarta handles. This chopper was forged and donated to the Murfreesboro Firefighters Association by Mitch Heinke. The minimum bid for this chopper is $300 and bids need to be in increments of $10. You can use the link below to bid or you can bid in person at the Murfree Center on Saturday. Bidding will close at 5pm at both location and a winner will be announced shortly after. The chopper will be on display at the PorkFest.

To be recognized by the community we proudly serve means more than words can express. Our department is made up of individuals who dedicate countless hours training, responding to emergencies, supporting community events, and working behind the scenes to help keep Murfreesboro safe.
