What an inspiring day at this year's Community Baby Shower!

For eleven years, this event has helped educate, support, and empower expecting and new mothers, and it was wonderful to connect with hundreds of women and families from across our community.

We enjoyed sharing the importance of hydration, water quality, and oral health, while encouraging working mothers as they prepare to return to the workplace. A special thank you to the nurse who joined us and helped share our message with such passion, expertise, and care.

Thank you as well to The Very Idea and Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center for helping create excitement at our tables. The beautiful gift basket generated lots of buzz, and the 2025 Community Picasso has officially found a new home!

We are grateful for the community partners, sponsors, and volunteers who help make events like this possible and support healthier outcomes for mothers, babies, and families.

Stuff the Bus 2026 was our best year ever!

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible community! Thanks to generous sponsors, donors, volunteers, and collection sites, the Murfreesboro Water Resources Department drop-off site collected 1,442 school supplies!

Special thanks to the Newcomers Club, MWRD: Stones River Water Treatment Plant Team / EUM Coordinator / Inspector / Community Affairs, and our anonymous donors. You made a real difference!

Together with United Way of South-Central Tennessee (UWSCT), more than 65,000 school supplies were collected, 3,500 backpacks were filled, and 10 school districts across seven counties will help thousands of students start the school year prepared and confident.

Thank you for showing the heart of Middle Tennessee; one backpack, one student, and one act of kindness at a time!
