Our 3rd Grade Redwood Class has begun the process of cleaning raw wool fleece to spin into yarn for a weaving project. This experience aims to deepen children’s understanding and reverence for where wool yarn comes from. They learn it takes a lot of hard work to make raw materials usable in our daily lives and in the handwork classroom.
