For almost eight years, I’ve been one magistrate; one member of Fiscal Court, not the Judge Executive. But I’ve tried to lead from where I was: asking questions, doing the research, bringing concerns forward, communicating with people, and helping move things along when I could.
That’s why I believe experience matters. I know how county government works, and I also know there are areas where we can do better.
I can’t promise every idea will pass Fiscal Court or every problem will be solved overnight. I can promise to show up, do the homework, listen, work with others, and follow through. My 8 years should have proven that.
I’m not running simply to maintain the status quo. I’m offering to serve because I believe we can build on what’s working and work together to improve what isn’t. That’s the kind of leadership I would bring as your Judge Executive.
